Children and staff at Hereward Primary School support
national 'Wig Wednesday'
Children at Hereward Primary School, Loughton, participated in the national 'Wig Wednesday' event organised by the children with cancer charity CLIC Sargent which encouraged the pupils and staff to wear a wig or bandana to school.
The hope was that through participating in such an event and making a donation to the charity that the pupils could make a positive difference to the lives of others.
Headteacher Matt Woolard said: "This is a charity very dear to our hearts.
"We are happy to support such a worthwhile cause at Hereward Primary School and to raise awareness of issues."
