Conch Newsletter May 2020

The Lockdown lifts.. Slightly!

BVI News

The BVI Government is unlikely to open our borders till September 2020 for tourists. We will continue to keep you updated as things change.
As a wise person once said, change is inevitable...except from vending machines.
We are taking booking for charters from October 2020 onwards...
Come down to our breezy, warm, beautiful British Virgin Islands like Christopher Columbus did back in the day.

Bad Boat Names!
This boat won the award for the best stern on a catamaran.
It was a cat-as-trophe!

Disclaimer: This boat is not in fleet with Conch Charters.
Boat of the month
Leopard 45 2020 "Uncaged"
With 3 cabins and 3 heads, she is as much a boat as she is a gorgeous sailing apartment. Spacious, airy with well equipped galley and Corian heat resistant surfaces, the living/dining areas are second to none. The hull shape is optimised for speed and you can expect to cruise at just above 8 knots, getting you to Anegada from the North Sound in under 3 hours. She has a turning circle of one boat-length with precise stopping and backing - docking has never been easier.
This beauty is on our docks now and open for bookings.

Anegada Reef Hotel

Thank you to everyone who played.
As you loved it so much, we decided to up the challenge with two questions this time!
Question 1
Where is Cockroach Island? (Gotta <3 the name!)
Question 2

This question is a nostalgic one for sailors that have been sailing around the BVI for a while.
What Island Bar and Restaurant in the middle of Trellis Bay used to advertised food, music and a "nice ass"?
Hit the WIN NOW button to send us your answers. The winner will be featured as our Conch Skills Champion in our next newsletter and win a free hat when you check in for your next charter.

The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt within the heart - Helen Keller
