Create a Green Careers Hub Many students and alums are interested in green careers, but don’t have the resources or expertise at hand to carve out their own path. A green careers hub will leverage existing career services to promote careers that help the climate for students and alums at all levels of professional development!
ClimateX EdX, MIT’s successful online education platform, can be expanded to deliver technical information and communication skills on climate issues. This layer within EdX will bring together diverse experts and topics to bring this vital knowledge to alums and the public around the world!
Global Cities, Global Solutions The trend towards urbanization presents unique challenges and opportunities for climate mitigation and adaptation. The expertise of MIT alums and global partners in fields ranging from architecture and planning to engineering and science as well as management, policy, and activism should be leveraged to ensure resilient, sustainable communities in a warmer world.

Response to conservative pundit George Will in Boston Herald MITACAL’s Quinton Zondervan rebutted the hollow arguments of Will’s recentop-ed, which attempted to argue that the COP21 Paris agreement was a meaningless milestone, for the fossil fuel era will soldier on no matter what. Zondervan highlights Will’s defeatism and willful ignorance in dismissing the ongoing renewable energy revolution.
