Seasons Greetings!
In our last newsletter of the year, we offer some more resources, including a bunch of ideas to keep your shopping locally-made this holiday. And if you're into fashion and apparel, don't miss tomorrow's live stream of Authentic Radicalism at 11am.

Wishing you a safe and happy holiday season!

Authentic Radicalism

MAKE IT IN LA partners with Not Just a Label, for their latest event in the Authentic Radicalism series, bringing together radical thinkers, vanguards and industry-shakers at NeueHouse Hollywood to discuss redefining LA's place on the fashion axis. Watch the live stream at 11am Tuesday.

Shop LA Made!

Does "Santa" still have a few people left to shop for this holiday? We make it easy to support local makers, with our first holiday gift guide.  LA manufactures everything from artisanal foods and apparel to sporting goods and scooters. So there is not better city to live in for shopping locally-made! (Something missing? Nominate it for next time!)

Designing for Scale

MAKE IT IN LA Advisor Michael Corr shares practical tips for designing electrical engineering systems from his talk at our Smart Prototyping event at LACI December 1st. From the talk, it's clear how important design can be for taking your product to scale!

Online Community

Join our private The Art of Manufacturing Facebook group, to connect with a growing community of fellow makers, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs. It's a space to find partners, discuss policy, and share ideas and activities. Visit the group page and click Join Group to request an invitation.
