My name is Ann, and it’s my turn to anchor the Crystal Travel newsletter this month. Learn more about me and my travel experiences.
March 2017 gives me so much to celebrate: my birthday, 16 years in the travel industry (three of them now at Crystal Travel) and, of course, St. Patrick’s Day. I grew up around Irish culture. My parents had a house outside of Galway City, and my mom worked for Aer Lingus. As a result, planning people’s vacations comes naturally to me.
Last October, I took my own vacation to Ireland’s Aran Islands and had a wonderful adventure. I enjoyed “the craic” while listening to traditional Irish music at Tí Joe Watty’s Bar. I adore Ireland's B&Bs and got to stay in one with breathtaking sights of both land and ocean. I even faced my fear of driving on the other side of the road for the first time. Wouldn’t you know, once I started driving, I didn’t want to stop!
In the spirit of all things Irish, I want to continue the celebration of Ireland by sharing several of my favorite tours this month. You'll surely find some luck of the Irish within each one!
