Being present and living in the moment - these two mindfulness practices might just be the meaning of life itself. These are topics that we have touched on in the past, but this week I want you to think about what it really means to you to live fully in each moment.
For me, it means letting go a little, or, at times, letting go a lot. I definitely tend towards being a planner. I'm always thinking about what's next. For example, I almost always have a race on the horizon, which means constant training. However, lately I've caught myself really enjoying my training runs just as they are. I haven't thought as much about the next race. I've simply been enjoying my uninterrupted hours on the trails. It is one of the places that I find myself fully present and really happy!
I want to encourage you to find that place in your life where you're truly happy and to live in that moment. Have fun with it and enjoy the journey!
Our workouts this week will again challenge your body and mind.
