Thursdays from 12-6pm
It's holiday season--that means citrus fruits are back! We've highlighted a few Market items for the foodies and local supporters in your life.
1. Fernandez Dates: Box of Medjools
Considered the diamond of dates, Medjools are prized for their large size, extraordinary sweetness, and chewy texture. Among the Medjool's many nicknames, "king of dates" is most fitting as they were once reserved for Moroccan royalty and their guests. Check out Kitchn's top 13 date recipes to make this December.
2. Trashfishbox: Sustainable Seafood Subscription
Give the gift of exotic seafood blends that help our ecosystem and help you figure out what's for dinner! Plus, each delivery comes with a locally made pantry item to go along with your catch! Find them on Thursday and tell them "FARMERMARK" for the first @trashfishbox FREE in the gift set!
3. Puro Nuez: Cinnamon Roasted Pecans
Roasting nuts deepens their flavor, making them even more nutty and complex. It also gives them a crisper texture, which is one of the reasons we like to gift this food to the ones we love! Puro Nuez only uses organic nuts and kosher spices, and no butter or preservatives, to make this vegan-friendly and gluten-free delight!
4. Coldwater Canyon Provisions: Pickled Brussels Sprouts
This Good Food Awards nominee is in the running for the Pickles and Preserves categories good reason! Rondo's blends are the perfect balance between salty, sweet, tangy and just downright good. And if you're looking for something more on the fruity side, opt for his Daybreak Apricot Jam, but we say you can't go wrong with Coldwater Canyon Provisions
5. Skyline Flowers: Build a Bouquet
Choose your colors, choose your textures, style and gift it to a loved one! One study found that people report feeling more compassionate towards others, have less worry and anxiety, and feel less depressed when fresh-cut flowers are present in the home. That's enough reason for us to grab a bunch during our Thursday Farmers' Market!

Here's a sneak peek of artisan goods coming to the Westwood Village Farmers' Market this December! Find the full schedule below and all the product photos on our website, here!
Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 13th! The UCLA Latin jazz ensemble will add some holiday cheer to the market with their wind and brass instruments. Get a sneak preview of their tunes and listen to a past performance
Santa will also make a guest appearance (thanks to our friends, WVIA!) during our market on Thursday the 13th. Get a free photo with Santa during our market, happening from 12pm - 6pm!

Chef Kyle from Broxton created an amazing Warm Persimmon Cake that was inspired by (and features) persimmons from Arnett Farms. You can find the full recipe on our website along with an archive of all of Farmer Mark's past Chef to Farmer participants' seasonal recipes
Our market happens every Thursday from 12pm - 6pm – that's enough time to get flowers in the sunlight and come back for pasteries in the evening!
