Beste lezers,
Nieuwsbrief 28 was een extra editie en stond in het teken van de campagnestart http://plaatseensteen.nl/
Er was ruime media-aandacht. In de kranten van Holland Media Combinatie (bereik 340.000+), waaronder het Noord-Hollands Dagblad, de Alkmaarsche Courant en Gooi- en Eemlander. De Telegraaf (regio ‘groot-Amsterdam’ en de Metro), (bereik 200.000+) verscheen met 2 pagina’s, inclusief een interview met bestuurslid Ludmilla van Santen over het onderzoek naar de slachtoffers.
Behalve vermeldingen op papier, ook veel digitale aandacht in nieuwsrubrieken van kranten, genealogiesites, geschiedenissites en de sponsors. Aandacht in Friesland bij o.a. de Leeuwarder Courant en Omroep Friesland voor de slachtoffers Popke Bakker en Hans Ooms. In Gelderland was aandacht voor de Arnhemse student Han Hutjes en toch wel bijzonder in Australie: een radio-interview met Paul Budde over zijn oom Herman Budde en de oproep aan de Nederlanders die in Australie wonen om ook mee te helpen met het schrijven van alle namen voor het memorial. Dankzij deze aandacht hebben zich weer nieuwe getuigen gemeld.
Komende periode zullen meer acties volgen waarbij enkele slachtoffers centraal zullen staan; ook de Amsterdamse scholen zullen na de vakantie worden benaderd.
We zijn 1 maand onderweg en we zijn zeer tevreden. Bijzonder fraai zijn de door Studio Moniker toegevoegde animaties waarop de voortgang van het plaatsen van de steentjes is te volgen.
In het begin merkten we dat veel mensen na het plaatsen van 1 steentje de website verlieten, maar na wat extra aandacht op onze speciale ‘plaats een steen’-Facebookpagina is het duidelijker, dat bij ieder van de 31 slachtoffers kan worden meegedaan.
Deelname is echt kosteloos, hoewel een donatie natuurlijk meer dan welkom is. Wilt u ook een financieel steentje bijdragen, dan kan dat door uw giften over te maken op rekeningnummer NL10 INGB 0008 1366 85 ten name van Stichting Memorial 2015 voor Damslachtoffers 7 mei 1945. Giften zijn fiscaal aftrekbaar omdat wij een Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling zijn.

- Upload een foto van uzelf terwijl u de website ‘plaats een steen’ bezoekt en laat op onze Plaats een steen-Facebookpagina weten waarom u mee doet. Laat aan uw sociale omgeving weten waarom deelnemen aan ‘plaats een steen’ belangrijk is.

Newsletter 28 was an extra edition about the release of http://placeastone.nl/
Last month we’ve had a lot of attention in the Media. In the newspapers of Holland Media Combinatie, with their papers Noord-Hollands Dagblad, the Alkmaarsche Courant and Gooi- en Eemlander.
The Telegraaf (region ‘big-Amsterdam’ and the Metro), came with a 2 pages inclusive interview with board member Ludmilla van Santen about the research of the victims.
Apart from printed news, also a lot of digital attention at news websites, ancestor websites, history websites and the websites of the sponsors. Special news in Friesland in the Leeuwarder Courant and Omroep Friesland for the victims Popke Bakker and Hans Ooms. The same in Gelderland for the student Han Hutjes and very special, the attention in Australia: a radio-interview with Paul Budde about his uncle Herman Budde and his call to the Dutch people living in Australia to join in to place a stone for the memorial. As a result of the publications we are in contact with other witnesses.
There will be more activities such as for some victims and the schools of Amsterdam.
After one month we are very satisfied. Exceptional are the animations, designed and added by Moniker so you can see the process of placing the stones.
At the start we noticed that people left the site after placing 1 stone, but after a explanation at our special ‘place a stone’ - Facebookpage, it is more clear now, that you can place a stone at each of the 31 names.
