Dear Marburn Academy families,

Marburn Academy - Music Man Has Been Postponed. New Dates to be Announced.

Marburn’s leadership is monitoring the COVID-19 situation very carefully. Tuesday and Wednesday, Governor DeWine addressed Ohioans and shared steps our public officials are taking to keep our communities safe and to slow the spread of the coronavirus so as not to overtax our medical system.

One of the recommendations he has made is to cancel or postpone non-essential public gatherings. The Governor indicated that a mass gathering order is forthcoming.

The decision to postpone Music Man has not been an easy one, especially due to the tremendous effort the cast, crew, volunteers and staff has put forth to mount the production. Safety and our community’s well being remain our priority and after consultation with Kevin Fish, we have decided a postponement is absolutely the right thing to do at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this decision may have caused.

New dates will be communicated shortly. Purchased tickets will either be honored for the new show dates or a full refund will be issued. More details to come.

We appreciate your patience as we navigate COVID-19 and we want to assure the community that we will keep you apprised of all changes to scheduled activities via normal communication channels and on our website.

We continue to partner with the Franklin County Board of Health, and refer to the CDCWorld Health Organization and other trusted sources to inform our decision-making.
