5 tips for coping with COVID-19

Today's speaker:

Listen to the full call >
1. Acknowledge reality. Allow yourself to feel how you're feeling and talk about your thoughts and fears with loved ones.

2. Create a sense of control. Are your worries plausible? Stop reading every article, practice comforting routines and do one thing each day that brings you joy.

3. Remind yourself who you are. What strengths have you used to overcome previous difficult situations?

4. Reach out to others. Take time every day to talk to someone you care about. Convene clubs and friend groups on virtual calls.

5. Give yourself a slight edge. Use extra time at home as an opportunity to thrive after this is over. Spend five minutes a day doing something that will make your life/work better in the future.
