A Message From Our Executive Director

Dear Excel Academy Families,

As a nation we are facing unprecedented times of uncertainty, however, rest assured your Excel Academy family is stronger than ever.   We are dedicated to serving you and going above and beyond to maintain consistency and rhythm when it is needed most.  While we may be facing challenges in many ways, I humbly stand proud behind doing what we do best focusing on students first.

It is my hope that our Excel Academy community can lend a hand and help support others learning from home. We will rise above and move past this national crisis. Our commitment will be a testimony to the value of personalized education.

Please know we are here for you with an abundance of community resources and crisis support.  Please contact your teacher of record or our counselors at modell@excelacademy.education (Melissa O'Dell) or ldurham@excelacademy.education (Lisa Durham) if you need any additional support.

Please stay safe and healthy by following the guidelines outlined below in 30 days to slow the spread.

Please note that the cancellation of state assessments does not apply to internal assessments that are administered at Excel Academy, for example, i-Ready assessments, paper-pencil alternative assessments, and any related assessments and assignments associated with coursework aligned to your student’s classes outlined on the Master Agreement.

i-Ready Assessments

Now that your student has completed the i-Ready assessments, please encourage your student to complete the personalized lessons at least 45 minutes per week. We will continue to honor Excel Academy students in the monthly newsletters who are working diligently and consistently. If you have any questions regarding your student’s score reports or lessons, please reach out to your ToR for guidance and support.
