Thanks to everyone helping with our Crisis Cold Weather Shelter!

Brentwood is again serving as an overnight crisis cold weather shelter when temperatures dip to freezing or below. We are grateful to Paije Luth for heading up this effort at Brentwood, as well as to our friends from Community Partnership of the Ozarks and other local volunteers, including several Brentwood members. If you’d like to volunteer, we could still use your help. Just email the church office (brentwoodchristianchurch@gmail.com) and we will pass on your contact info to Paije. Thanks!

Because our shelter allows pets, we are looking for kennels. (Pets have to be kenneled to stay.) If you have a kennel we could borrow, our furry friends would greatly appreciate it! To those who’ve already donated one, thanks!!

Thanks for your donations to the Souper Bowl Food Drive!

Youth Group Service Project

Saturday, Feb 13th, 1-3pm. Brentwood fellowship hall downstairs.

Youth and Middlers will be cleaning/sanitizing the fellowship hall, bathrooms, mats, pillows, and doing some laundry to help with the overnight shelter Brentwood is providing to some of the homeless folks in our midst on these very cold nights. Next week looks to be brutal temperatures so this is a great way for our kids to help in a very concrete way with a real need. They will also help in some other ways, maybe making snack bags people can take, maybe making some encouraging crafty things for folks who'll be there on Valentines Day.

Bring masks. Gloves will be provided and I'll keep you posted on whether or not we need any kind of anythings donated for crafts or whatever.

Sunday Worship Leaders

We're seeking worship leaders to share in scripture and prayer with us each week, based on the theme of the Sunday worship service. You will record these at home, and we will share them in Sunday worship. To sign up, send an email to rev.emily.bowen{at}gmail.com. She will get you on the schedule, as well as give you detailed instructions and resources for the recording.

Cold Weather Shelter Meal Train

Calling anyone who is interested in providing meals this winter... we have LOTS of gaps coming up in our meal train to provide dinner at Veterans Coming Home Center at 5 PM throughout the winter months.

Please take a look and see if you can connect and help meet this need.

*** This is a great opportunity for churches, small groups, friends, families, neighbors, businesses, and individuals to get involved!***

You can sign up to provide a meal at the link below:
