Statement from Dave Catalfamo on Proposed Reduction of VA Services in Warren, Washington & Saratoga Counties
"The Biden administration's plan to eliminate the Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) in Glens Falls and Clifton Park must be reexamined. Veterans in Warren, Washington and Saratoga counties rely on these clinics to bring health care services closer to home. This proposal is the kind of thing that probably looks good to a bureaucrat in Washington evaluating service areas on Google Earth, but makes little or no sense on the ground. Warren and Washington Counties are among the most densely populated with veterans in New York, with Saratoga not far behind, reducing access to services in these areas is a serious mistake and must be rejected."
