Did you know?

According to APIAVote, in key presidential battleground states—including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Texas—911,393 AAPI voters turned out to vote early this year.

This is 21% more voters than the entire AAPI turnout in those states in 2016.

Inspiring AAPI Leaders

Kiran Ahuja is a civil rights lawyer and nonprofit CEO with a long history of philanthropic and political leadership. She previously served under the Obama Administration as chief of staff at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and executive director of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

Most recently, Ahuja was appointed by the Biden-Harris Administration as head of team for the federal administration human resources agency—one of the transition's team top positions.

Keith Nishida (he/him/cis) has 10+ years of experience in research, program development, and teaching. After founding his own bilingual marketing consultancy, Nishida has advised brands globally on how to articulate their digital marketing strategies. He also teaches diversity and inclusion advocacy as a workshop instructor at General Assembly.

Currently, Nishida serves as National Program Director for NAAAP Pride, working alongside chapters nationwide to empower LGBTQ+ individuals and allies.
