Take 2 Access at Glasgow Film Theatre

Our monthly neurodivergent friendly family film. 

Takes place on the last Saturday of each month at 12pm at Glasgow Film Theatre, 12 Rose Street, G3 6RB 

Welcome to Take 2 Access! 

Every child under the age of 14 will receive a free ticket and two free tickets for two accompanying adults. For every additional adult there will be a £6 ticket fee which is discounted from our full adult price (£10.90). 
(Please note this differs from Take 2, our weekly family programme where there is only one free ticket for an accompanying adult). 

For the month of January, February and March 2022 we have some funding available for transport costs please for East Park families. 

During our Take 2 Access screenings, our house lights will remain up, volume will be turned down and there will be freedom of movement for families attending. 

Please note if you have any access requirements including wheelchairs please contact the duty manager on (0141) 352 8603 or email and we will ensure a space is reserved.

The Lion King (U)

The 1994, animated version of this Disney classic, The Lion King, follows the story of lion cub prince Simba. After his evil Uncle frames him for his beloved Father’s death, Simba is outcast and the animals of his kingdom are left to suffer under Uncle Scar’s rule. Years later Simba must decide if he wants to continue on his own or fight for what’s right.

Muppets Treasure Island (PG)

Saturday 26 February

In this live action, musical film, the Muppets set out on an epic adventure to find treasure. Along the way they must fight evil pirates and work together. Based on the Treasure Island book by Robert Louis, join familiar characters from the Muppets franchise and enjoy this comedy for the whole family.

Glasgow Short Film Festival Family Shorts (Age Rating TBC)

Every year we welcome Glasgow Short Film Festival to show an hour of their best family friendly short films at Glasgow Film. 

Information on films will be provided in advance.
