Albania Plasë Church and Kora Update: November and December 2022

November and December

We were blessed to have a small group of Bible School students from Albania come for a mission week in Plasa. During the week we had a sleepover, they shared testimonies, led a worship night, helped with the children's program, and spoke in the Bible studies. This week was a blessing for us and the church.

Xhentil has been blessed with the opportunity to preach 2 times in the last month. In the Tiana church plant, he preached on our new life with Jesus. And in Korca he preached on 1 John 5:13-21 which focuses on confessing our sins to God because He is faithful.

Our precious little baby is now 17 weeks. He/she is strong and at our last check-up the doctor said that the baby is very healthy. We are excited to find our if we are having a little boy or girl.

This month our youth have stepped up in so many ways. They have started to lead more of the children's program and even some of the Bible studies. One of our biggest prayers in the last few months was that God would bring opportunities for the believers in our church to grow closer to Him. This month we have seen that in so many ways. The girls have been sharing Bible stories for the Saturday programs. The boys have taken the lead in the prayer times and discussion times in our studies. All of this is a testament to God's goodness!

Prayer and Help Request
We have been going through our things at the church and organizing. And it was brought to our attention that our selection of games at the church is very limited. But one of our struggles is that we do not have many common games in Albania. So, this is where we need your help. We have made an Amazon wish list of games for the church.
A dear friend of ours is in the States for some time and has agreed to bring back games for our church. So, if you feel called, please take a look at the wish list of games and help us add to our game collection.

Upcoming events:

1) We are so excited to be able to share some of the holiday spirit with all of the youth and children in our church. We will be sharing Samaritan Purse Christmas Boxes.
2) In the near future Xhentil and I (Victoria) will be changing the account that our support goes through. More information will come in the next letter.

PRAISE REPORTS:
1) In our last newsletter, we asked you to pray about supporting us to have firewood for the winter. We feel so blessed by all of your prayers and support. It is a huge praise, we have enough support for us (the Kora's) to have firewood all winter as well as many of the old women from Plasa and the church. Thank you so much!
2) In the past few months, we have seen the fruit of our seeds. Many people that we have not seen in the church for a while have started coming back and bringing their friends. God is good.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
1) Please continue to pray for my little baby growing inside of me.
2) Another prayer request is for open hearts this Christmas season. Most of our congregation are children and this is a blessing. These children can go home and share with their parents what they learned and hopefully, the parents can see a difference in their children.

Ways to partner with the Kora Family

To continue (or to begin!) partnering with us (Xhentil and Victoria Kora) financially, you can do so through 2 different methods.

The first is through Zelle. Zelle is a way to send money directly from one bank to another. When money is sent directly through banks, then we go around the middleman and don't have any percentages taken out. This can be done with your bank online or in the bank and monthly support can also be set up through this. To send it to the Kora Family account you can send it to this email: vfroberts1@gmail.com

The second method is through the OAC Albania website. With this option, you can get a tax write-off, if this is something you need. This way you will click the website below and in the "Fund" box you will select the "Plasa Church Ongoing Ministry" Fund. And in the NOTES section, you must specify "Xhentil and Victoria Kora", and the support will find its way to us. In this way, there is a 7% taken out from the company and then additional percentages are taken out when we transfer it to our bank here in Albania.

Thank you so, so much for your continued support and partnering with the work God is doing in Plasa. We are excited at the new possibilities, and where God will take this ministry. Jesus builds His church, and He uses some to plant, and some to water. Through everything, HE gives the growth. We expect and look forward to God continuing to bless and grow His church!
