Welcome to the 2021 LMC Buying Group summer update! It has been a busy few months as usual and we have a few changes we want to update you on.

New Workwear Supplier on board! 
We are delighted to announce that Whittaker Workwear Solutions (WWS) will be our new approved workwear supplier from 1 July. If you have a Buying Group supplier list on your own websites then this will need updating as soon as possible. 

Whittaker Workwear Solutions is the workwear arm of our long-standing stationery supplier Whittaker Workplace Solutions who now provide a full clothing range with access to the latest and most respected brands of healthcare clothing.

Their clothing is ideal for nurses and front of house reception staff. Their range includes:
  • Scrubs
  • Tunics
  • Blouses
  • Knitwear
  • Trousers and Jackets
From off-the-shelf to customised workwear they have a variety of solutions to meet the needs of GP practices. For a more personalised solution, WWS offer a high-quality embroidery and printing service which can complement brands and logos. All members can access bespoke pricing on their workwear range and embroidery service. Please forward this change of supplier information on to practices in your area. If they want a quote to order uniforms for their team, they should complete this quote form. They can also get more information when they head over to their dedicated workwear page on our website.


Change of Registered Office Address
Our registered office address will change on 1 July from 5 Phoenix Place to Suite 146, Pure Offices, Sherwood Business Park, Lake View Drive, Nottingham, NG15 0DT. Our phone number and email addresses will remain the same. If you have our old address on your websites, we'd appreciate if you can update this as soon as you can. 

 
Introduction to the Buying Group 
We are aware that some LMCs have taken on new members of staff over the last year or so. We'd be happy to set up a virtual meeting with LMCs so any new staff who may be unfamiliar with what we do and how we support practices can find out more.
