Welcome to the 2021 spring update for our LMC members! We have been kept busy this month with supplier contract renewals and there are some changes that we need to update you on.
Changes to Supplier List
There will be a few changes to the supplier list from 1 April 2021 as contracts with DLT Media (magazine subscriptions) and Scan House (digital record reproduction) come to an end. We made the decision to end these agreements due to continued low take-up.
If you have a list of our suppliers on your website, we would appreciate it if you could remove DLT and Scan House by 1 April.
Flu Season 2021/22
Many practices have been confused about this year's flu vaccine ordering, reimbursement and what vaccine should be given to the different age cohorts.
We held a Q&A session with our flu vaccine suppliers to try and alleviate some of the confusion. You can access all points raised from that meeting in this PowerPoint Presentation. Introduction to the Buying Group
We are aware that some LMCs have taken on new members of staff over the last year or so. We'd be happy to set up a virtual meeting with LMCs so any new staff who may be unfamiliar with what we do and how we support practices can find out more.
