Namchar  l  February 2022
The month of love has come and gone and we are heading into the third month of the year already! We had an exciting month with our Valentine's Day giveaway that caused a lot of laughter and attempts at opening the Namchar bag the "Isaac Jones" way. It was great to see what a sport everyone was and how we could laugh together, as a braai community, about the simple things in life. After all, it does not help to take life too seriously, especially when a braai is involved. 😉 We look forward to March and everything that it has in store for us. Connect with us on our socials, share your recipes and start a conversation. We want to hear from you!
Our Valentine's day giveaway was a great success and a lot of fun! The goal was to see how many people could get it right to open their Namchar bag the "Isaac Jones" way OR to show us a brand new way of opening their bag. Many attempted, succeeded, failed and laughed! It was wonderful to see everyone's attempts and to have been able to connect as a braai community. As always, there could only be one winner and this time it was Werner Taljaard who blew us away with his video entry! Watch his video below. We also gave a prize to Isaac Jones to show our appreciation for his support and for assisting us with this giveaway.

We know that finding your favourite Namchar products is vital in achieving the ultimate braai experience which is why we try to make it easy for you by sourcing locations where you can find our products. This month's location is Superspar, Aurora. They have our charcoal and briquettes on display!
Because if you are a TRUE braai master then you will master your braai vocabulary too. 😉 Keep an eye on our social media platforms where we will share weekly braai vocabulary to help keep your braai master status!

Because Valentine's Day should be every day! 😉 Here is a sweet treat to enjoy on the braai to show your loved ones just how much they mean to you, any day of the week.

If you enjoy the large flames and ambience of a wood fire before cooking, place the charcoal first (as a base), then build your pyramid of wood above the charcoal. This way you get to enjoy the wood fire and by the time the flames have died down, your coals will be ready for braaiing.
