Housing Inventory Count
The Housing Inventory Count (HIC) is a point-in-time inventory of provider programs within a Continuum of Care that provide beds and units dedicated to serve people experiencing homelessness and, for permanent housing projects, were homeless at entry, per the HUD homeless definition.
*** If your agency has a Rapid Rehousing (Housing and Services), Permanent Supportive Housing, or Other Permanent Housing dedicated to those experiencing homelessness, then the following timeline and information is for you! ***
2025 Housing Inventory Count (HIC) Timeline:
Monday February 10, 2025 – ICA will run HMIS HIC reports and send out to HMIS Users
Friday February 14, 2025 – All data should be entered into HMIS by agencies
Friday February 21, 2025 – Agencies have confirmed and accurate HIC report with ICA
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your agency has a project and it is not entered into the CoC HMIS, please reach out to ICA to ensure that we have the project information, and you receive the 2025 reporting document.
