New York’s Veterans Need More Free Legal Help
The Veterans Assistance Project has done groundbreaking advocacy to draw attention to the need for more free legal assistance on behalf of New York City's underserved disabled veterans. New York has the fifth largest veteran population in the country, but lags far behind other states in benefits received from the VA.
