Summer Recap
NorCal Solar's partnership with Intersolar North America was a smashing success! NorCal organized 10 special tours for the conference attendees: 1 sailing tour, 1 tour of unique SF solar sites, 6 Tesla factory tours, 1 tour of NEXTracker's Center for Solar Excellence, and 1 Winery Microgrid tour.

On the sailing tour we were greeted with sunny skies, a fair wind, and humpback whales breaching in the bay. All 6 Tesla tours sold out almost immediately and the microgrid tour at Stone Edge Farm was truly inspiring. To look at full descriptions of the tours, go to our Events Page and scroll through past events.
Elaine's Climate Ride
From Elaine Hebert of NorCal Solar:

"Hi, everyone! You might have seen my note in a previous NorCal Solar newsletter. This past May I bicycled in a charity bike ride – the California Coast Climate Ride. I raised over $5,000 for NorCal Solar, the American Solar Energy Society, and the Climate Ride organization. THANK YOU to everyone who donated so generously! That $5,000 is an impressive number!"
