Children and staff at Hereward Primary School, Loughton, held a special day today (Friday) to raise over £400 money for children with genetic disorders.
The fundraising effort was part of the national 'Jeans for Genes Day'.
Children and staff were encouraged to wear denim and take in a donation to school to support the worthy cause.
The school's Charities Co-ordinator, Janice Whitehead, said: "It was great to see everyone getting involved and helping to make the day a huge success.
"We raised over £400 which was fantastic."
