Reception pupils at Hereward Primary School, Loughton, this week celebrated the achievement of being in school for 100 days.

The excited children revelled in their achievements so far and dressed to impress in their wonderfully decorated shirts depicting the occasion.

All the classroom activities throughout the day revolved around the number 100 with the children getting to experiment with lots of mathematical concepts.

Early Years Leader Tersia de Jongh said: "The day was well supported by the children and their families.

"It was a resounding success and the children enjoyed every minute of their action-packed day. It was certainly something for them all to be proud of."
