Children and staff at Hereward Primary School, Loughton, held a special charity day today (Friday) which raised over £400 for children with genetic disorders.
The fundraising effort was part of the national 'Jeans for Genes Day'.
Children and staff were encouraged to wear denim and take in a donation to school to support the worthy cause.
The school's charities co-ordinator, Janice Whitehead, said: "Supporting Jeans for Genes Day is a real tradition at the school and we are delighted which how generous our parents, carers and pupils have been."
