Girls' football festivals
The King Harold Academy’s Year 7 girls football team attended a football festival at Passmores Academy, Harlow.
The festival - involving King Harold Academy, Epping St John’s, Davenant Foundation, Stewards Academy and Passmores Academy - provided the 11 and 12-year-olds with the opportunity to experience different styles of playing football.
Students enjoyed Futsal, Mash-Up Games, Soccercise and small-sided football.
More than 50 King Harold Academy girls also took part in a tournament at Epping St John's School with the Year 7 and 9 students placed second overall.
King Harold Academy PE teacher Elena Clark said: “Our students had a great time. They learnt a range of new football skills and enjoyed mixing with students from other schools.
"It’s great to see girls' football being pushed forward in the local area.”
