Children deliver Harvest Festival food and toiletries to homeless

Thomas Willingale School pupils celebrated Harvest Festival by performing assemblies for their parents and donating a range of food and toiletries to homeless people in London.

Deputy Head Teacher Lynda Collins and two members of the School Council visited St Saviour's Priory in Haggerston, London, to deliver the items.

Mrs Collins said: "The sisters at St Saviour's were extremely grateful for the gifts and will make good use of them."
