Parish council planning COVID-19 memorial space
Buckhurst Hill Parish Council is continuing with its work in drawing up plans for a COVID-19 memorial in the parish.

A memorial within the flower bed on the corner of Palmerston Road and Kings Avenue has been identified as a possible location.

Councillor Ken Williamson told Thursday's parish council meeting: "It would not be a memorial for just those who died, it's for everything that has gone on throughout the pandemic."

The parish council has set up a working group to discuss ideas.
