Year 11 students at Debden Park High School have been recognised at a 'Proud' assembly where parents and teachers celebrate students' success in all subjects.
Subject teachers were asked to nominate students for Outstanding Progress and Outstanding Attitude to Learning with the winners presented with certificates and prizes.
The assembly was orchestrated by Year 13 Executive Head Boy Louis Pryde and Head Girl Eleanor Davies along with the Year 12 Student Voice Leadership Team.
The inspiring assembly was followed up by the Sixth Form Open Evening which enabled parents and students to visit the Sixth Form building, The Hive, and discuss potential A-Level subjects.
Assistant Headteacher Demetris Kalogirou and Deputy Headteacher Gemma Haycock spoke about the importance of recognising achievement and acknowledging students’ hard work and dedication towards their subjects.
* Year 11 students took part in a Mock Interview Day (Thursday, November 16) when they were interviewed by various company representatives.
