Students recognised at business awards

Students at King Harold Academy and Debden Park High School celebrated success at the Epping Forest Investors in Young People Business Awards at the Marriott Hotel, Waltham Abbey, on Thursday (November 9).
King Harold Academy students Robbie Minchin, Elle Grech-Bundy and George Mizen and Debden Park High School students Isobel Jones, Emmanuel Lesi and Phoebe Hallford were recognised for their contribution to work and voluntary placements within the local business community.
The celebrations also included recognising the support of Haven House Hospice, The Holly Hospital, Marks and Spencer Loughton, NJW Hair, D J K Solicitors and Duncan Phillips in Waltham Abbey.
Debden Park High School Sixth Form student Joseph Parsons, a former student of King Harold Academy, received the Young Person of the Year award.
King Harold Academy's Head of Careers, Jaci Hammond, said: "It was a fantastic evening to celebrate our students’ achievements and thank our employers within Epping Forest for their continued support.
