Debden Park High School has again produced some outstanding GCSE results.

An impressive 25 per cent of all GCSE grades were at A* or A, and in addition almost a third of students achieved three or more top grades.

Head of School Helen Gascoyne said: "We are thrilled that our consistent focus on learning throughout the school and our constant academic drive have proved yet again to enable students to achieve incredible results.

"Our lessons are engaging, exciting and challenging and our students have enhanced life chances as a result of learning with us."

Executive Headteacher Christian Cavanagh said: "Yet again Debden Park High School has proved its place as a centre of excellence.

"We are delighted with our GCSE results, a week after our impressive A-Level results from our first Year 13 cohort.

"All of these results reflect the academic success of this Outstanding school.

"We would like to thank all of our students, staff, governors and parents for their hard work and continued support as we build on our incredible successes this year."

A record number of students have applied to join the Sixth Form at Debden Park.

Among the top GCSE achievers are:
