Joint Progress success for King Harold Academy and
Debden Park High School
King Harold Academy in Waltham Abbey and Debden Park High School in Loughton are overjoyed at having achieved Progress 8 scores well above the national average.
The schools have attributed the success down to the collaborative working relationship.
The data, which can be found on the DfE website, shows that students at both schools make fantastic progress compared to students nationally.
Executive Headteacher Christian Cavanagh said: “We are thrilled at the progress students in both schools have made.
"This is testament to their hard work and to the dedication and commitment of all staff at both schools.
"What is clear is that the close collaboration, working together for success, and common structures between the two schools has benefited both of them.
"These Progress 8 scores put both schools among the highest in Essex.”
