Year 11 students at Debden Park High School watched a unique and engaging production of 'The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' by theatre company ‘On Set Texts’.
Students enjoyed the performance which proved an invaluable tool to inspire and motivate them in the final build up to their GCSE English Literature exam.
Subject Leader of English Sarah Behan highlighted how important it is for Year 11 students to be able to visualise their key exam texts and bring them to life.
She said: "This is undoubtedly the most anticipated day within the Team. "The impact the performance has on students is clear to see and it is such an inspiring production and really helps them to recap the plot and key quotes in a lively and visual way.
"It is also a fantastic way to begin the final build-up to the exams this summer, allowing students to appreciate the exam texts for their enjoyment factor and not just against exam skills."
