Records broken at TKAT Olympics

UPDATE: Debden Park High School came second overall at the TKAT Olympic Games
Athletes at Debden Park High School students achieved new records when they took part in the TKAT Olympic Games.
The games were held at the Allianz Park Stadium, home of Saracens Rugby Club when more than 40 schools competed in the primary and secondary festival of athletics, music and dance.
More than 80 Debden Park students took part and many came away with records, medals and Personal Bests.
Debden Park students won many events including Reggie Hubbard in the boys U16 100m; Omoefe Osagie in the girls U16 100m; Jodie Warren Year 9 girls 100m, Teiye Richards Year 9 boys 100m, Dollie Hunt Year 7 100m, Rhys Martin U16 javelin, Grace Barns Year 9 high jump., the Year 7 girls 4x100m relay, Year 9 girls and boys 4x100m relay, and U16 girls and boys 4x100m relays.
Debden Park dancers performed to the huge crowd of more than 5,000 people.
Head of PE Jen Perry said: "Despite the heat all our students did the school proud and represented Debden Park in the best possible way.
"I am so proud, as always, of all their achievements."
