Student selected for Jack Petchey Achievers Network
A student at King Harold Academy in Waltham Abbey has been selected for the Jack Petchey Achievers Network.
Adam Freeman was invited to apply after representing King Harold at the Speak Out Challenge West Essex Regional Final and through his work as an Epping Forest Youth Council member.
After writing his application, Adam was invited to attend a selection day when he took part in group activities and completed an interview.
The Jack Petchey Achiever’s Network was established last year and develops young people by providing training on topics including self esteem, communication, leadership, listening and negotiating Skills.
Participants also receive a skilled mentor to guide them through the programme.
They also help to guide the Jack Petchey Foundation’s future programmes and volunteer in the community.
