Debden Park High School offered current and prospective Sixth Form students a chance to look beyond life at school and open their eyes to the possible futures at university and professional life.
The Futures Evening saw the school joined by a number of speakers from some of the country's top employers and universities - including Oxford, Durham and UCL - who shared their expertise and guidance on topics such as choosing a course at university, university life and the careers beyond Sixth Form.
Assistant Headteacher Joe Simm said: "We want our students to be as knowledgeable and prepared for the choices they have about their lives beyond Year 13 as they can, and Futures Evening was a great way to open their eyes to the wealth of opportunities they have open to them.
"For our Year 11 students it was a great chance to remind them what all their hard work at GCSEs is all about.
"As our Year 12 students start their UCAS application process for next year, these presentations were another invaluable way of informing them on the decisions that lie ahead and reminding them to aspire to great things in their futures."
