Reading buzz grabs King Harold Academy students
Students at King Harold Academy have received their chosen books after the school signed up to Bookbuzz - the national reading programme aimed at encouraging reading for pleasure, independent choice and a whole reading and writing culture.

The scheme, run by Book Trust, means Year 7 and 8 students could choose a free book from a selection of titles.

Nicola Reece, Head of Literacy, said: "We are pleased to say these books have arrived and all pupils have now received a copy of their chosen book.

"These books are a fantastic opportunity to engage pupils in reading, which will ultimately help to develop and improve their progress across the school.

"Pupils have been asking about these books since we ordered them and their enthusiasm is amazing.

"We are so pleased with their response and hope this helps to feed and develop their enthusiasm for reading."
