Buckhurst Hill Parish Council hosts Winter Warmers event
Buckhurst Hill Parish Council hosted the initial 2015 'Winter Warmers' older peoples' community health and wellbeing event in Buckhurst Hill Library.

The parish council worked in partnership with West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group and Epping Forest District Council to deliver the event.

The event was opened by Buckhurst Hill Parish Council chairman councillor Aniket Patel and was very well attended by local residents who received talks and information from a range of health professionals and community safety officers including Essex Fire & Rescue Service, Trading Standards, Voluntary Action Epping Forest,
South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (SEPT), CARE and Neighbourhood Watch.

There were also information stands and demonstrations of seated exercises.

The day was hailed a success by all who attended and plans are already well advanced for a similar event next year.
