In reflecting on the past year, I want to say thank you for listening, watching, and supporting WFYI. As we approach the end of 2021, I wanted to share a few of my favorite (pub media) things!

NPR’s Books We Love includes staff reviews of over 300 books in every genre you can imagine. It’s very searchable and you’ll see recs from some of your favorite hosts and journalists!

NPR’s Best of Music 2021 includes the best songs and albums of the year and some staff picks. If you want to catch up with some amazing local musicians, Small Studio Sessions have released several new sessions, including a special holiday episode!
You can also catch Pop Culture Happy Hour’s favorite moments of 2021 in this 30-minute listenI will also forever recommend It's Been a Minute with Sam Sanders as it's my favorite NPR show.

This Sunday you can watch A Charlie Brown Christmas on WFYI
Catch this timeless special featuring all the Peanuts gang this Sunday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. Feeling down about the commercialism of Christmas, Charlie Brown becomes the director of the gang’s holiday play.
Save the Date – Downton Abbey movie will air on WFYI
The 2019 Downton Abbey movie will air on WFYI on Saturday, December 25 at 7 PM and Sunday, January 2 at 9 PM. There is also a lot of great programming coming up on PBS in January, including a new season of Finding Your Roots.

Also, if you are a WFYI Member (at $60+), you can get access to PBS Passport, which gives you access to hundreds of PBS shows.

Cool new swag that supports WFYI
“Public media is at the heart of building stronger, smarter communities, and we love creating products that support that cause!”
We have teamed up with United State of Indiana to create an iconic tee and tote bag and 25% of the proceeds directly support WFYI’s mission.

Also - when you renew your car registration next year, don't forget you can get a WFYI License plate!
