Since April, Side Effects Reporter, Jake Harper, has been extensively reporting on the Indiana Department of Corrections with stories about COVID-19 in prisons, with several stories focusing on Indiana Women's Prison. In January of 2021, the IDOC announced they are going to do a comprehensive review of Indiana Women's Prison. You can check out the in-depth reporting with a deep dive into these recent stories:
My Favorite - NPR's Book Concierge
In case you missed it...NPR released their Book Concierge, which includes is the best recommendation for any kind of book you may be looking for! I have been bingeing books to try to pass the cold months and I can't recommend their website more! I love that they have every genre, kids books, ideas for book clubs - it's all there and it goes back to 2013. I just read The Vanishing Half and Deacon King Kong is next.
As always, there are a number of ways that you can support the work that we are doing at WFYI and raise your profile with our radio, TV and digital audience. We would love to talk to you about your marketing and community engagement goals for 2021 and how we can help you reach them.
Hope you are doing well!
