Greetings!

As we are approaching the end of the year, I wanted to reach out and send you warm wishes for this holiday season and Happy New Year!

Thanks for being here with us this past year – for listening, watching, and supporting as we fulfill our mission of trusted journalism, inspiring stories, and lifelong learning. In the event that you are looking forward to some cozy, quiet time at home, I wanted share a few of my favorite (pub media) things!

NPR’S BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS & MUSIC TOO!
I love NPR’s Books We Love and use it all of the time – there are over 300 books in every genre you can imagine. This probably sounds familiar – I recommend it every year and always will!  NPR’s Best of Music 2022  is also the best!

FOR TV & MOVIE RECS
If you have some free time coming up and want to find some recommendations of 2022 in television or movies, look no further than the critics at Pop Culture Happy Hour. This year, they’ve created a comprehensive site with their favorites, by genre and where you can watch!

BINGE-WORTHY MOMENTS
We are bringing binge-worthy TV to WFYI television with two PBS favorites! We are airing an All Creatures Great and Small season 2 marathon on December 31 and the new season will premiere on January 8. On January 1, we will air a  Finding Your Roots Marathon. Also, you can binge many PBS shows anytime with the PBS Passport, which comes with a donation of $5 a month.

COMING IN 2023
WFYI is re-launching Across Indiana in January 2023! This digital short series will share stories of Indiana’s people, places, curiosities and oddities.  Across Indiana will air everywhere – on television, online and across our social media channels. Check out the trailer here!

However you celebrate this holiday season, I hope you are doing it with family and friends, warmth and light. I look forward to connecting with you in 2023!

Enjoy!
