Continuing on with the theme of Volunteers (News #1 featured the Eudunda Garden's Volunteers, News #2 Volunteers at the Eudunda RSL). #3 Eudunda CFS volunteers, #4 Stewards (Volunteers) Eudunda Show #5 Eudunda Family Heritage Gallery Committee. This edition #6 shows the regions newest (unrecognised) volunteers - who are making a mosaic for the Eudunda Gardens Drinking Fountain. Well done to all volunteers.

Footy & Netball Season has just finished with a big bang, Check out the Leader as Chelsea has a massive effort for our local teams. This coming week (next Wednesdays edition should have a full roundup of the Saint's Presentation Day.

Now thoughts turn to Basketball, Tennis and Cricket.

Free Volunteers Afternoon Tea 27th Sept 2015

ECBAT have been running the volunteer appreciation event for a few years and this is the first time for a Sunday Afternoon. Here is a chance for you to get along, network and have a good time. You will be surprised just where all the volunteers are.

Featured on the header photo are our NEWEST Volunteers (they probably don't realise it) but they have just volunteered to do some artwork which will benefit the community at large. Check out the article Community Art Project underway in this issue.

Betty Gray's Open Iris Garden - 17th & 18th Oct

All Welcome to come see Betty's beautiful Tall Bearded Iris flowers over this weekend
Eudunda, 40 Bruce Street.
This is a fundraiser for the Eudunda Hospital Auxiliary
It’s great value with a donation of $5 including Mixed plate and bottomless Cup of Tea or Coffee.

Community Art Project underway

An information evening held at the Eudunda Club on the 11th September saw local artist Kate Jenkins introduce the idea of making mosaic tiles to decorate the future drinking fountain in the Eudunda Centenary Gardens. All Welcome to participate, times are flexible.

Workshops are continuing to make the Mosaic tiles
Tuesdays 2-4pm (not every week)
Sundays 1-3pm
 (not every week)

Influx of Interstate Visitors

It is good to hear from the ladies in the Eudunda Carers’ Center Opportunity Shop in Bruce Street, Eudunda that they have noticed an influx of Interstate visitors this week. Apparently due to Victoria having 'School Holidays' already. It's great to see that tourists are coming to out town and finding things to do here.

Citizen of the Year ECBAT urge to Nominate.

As you go around at work or play in the region, you are bound to see people who work hard to better the community in some way. It may be volunteering for a service, an event or sport.  They have most likely done so for quite some time, never complained and always happily put their hand up to volunteer.
Here is your chance to Nominate outstanding work in the Community.

Citizen of the Year,
Young Citizen of the Year,
Community Event of the Year

Presentation of the awards will be at the Australia Day Breakfast on the 26th Jan 2016.
