2017 Lew Job 2 Day Trial - Robertstown 10-11th
THIS WEEKEND!
The Robertstown will welcome the 2017 Lew Job 2 Day Trial, this weekend - the 10th & 11th June. for it's major event for the region being Round 3 of the South Australian Reliability Trials Championship (SART).
The events Main Control is once again located at the Robertstown Oval. Why not come along from about 10am and enjoy the atmosphere, as it is inspiring to see so many bikes waiting to go out at the start.
Good luck and safe riding to all competitors. Spectators - please keep to designated areas, drive extra carefully and take your rubbish home.
The Probus Club of Eudunda & Districts Inc. are having a day trip to Peterborough on the 22nd June 2017, and ALL interested persons are welcome (not just Probus members).
Club President and organizer of this trip, Hedley Scholz has invited anyone interested to join the group heading North that day. Transport will be by pooled private vehicles. A Quick summary includes:
Costs for Probus Peterborough Trip on June 22nd. Approximately 20 people have indicated their intention to go. It is suggest that four or five vehicles will be needed, and that drivers receive a donation of $15 per person to cover fuel. Of course if more wish to come the number of vehicles will increase.
Some of the activities and costs: Entry to Dragon's Rest Habitat private garden - $5.
The 1/2 hour guided tour & 1 hour Sound & Light Show at the Steamtown Heritage Rail Centre is $30.00 per person. Lunch is at own expense at either the Fish Cafe or the Peterborough Bakery.
Hedley has said that he has spoken to one couple who went with Kapunda Probus a couple years ago and enjoyed it that much, they are coming with again.

Eudunda Tidy Towns Competition to include “Best Rural Garden” for 2017
This year the Eudunda Tidy Towns Competition is including “Best Rural Garden” into the judging categories. If you think your garden is worthy of holding this title then please register your interest.
To be included in the judging, entries need to be registered at the council office by the 31st July.
ECBAT urges you to register your interest to be part of the judging and you could be the inaugural winner of this class when it is announced at the Australia Day breakfast in 2018.

at Eudunda Golf Opening
28th May saw the opening of the Eudunda Golf Club's 2017 season. Local Youth Golfers enthusiastically unbox the new Junior Golf Clubs thanks to Captain Bistro Cheney and a grant from the Regional Council of Goyder. The clubs cater for all ages from 2 through to Adults and the lads present were keen to try them out straight away, despite the inclement weather. Thank you Regional Council of Goyder.

Eudunda Sporting Clubs Appeal for Volunteers
The Eudunda Sporting Club is hosting this year’s Swann Insurance 24 Hour Reliability Trial on the 8th -9th of July at Eudunda.
This community event is a major Fundraiser for our Club but we require help to ensure that is runs smoothly. We are looking for community members who are willing to assist us with catering for the trial.
Elders are excited to launch the '2018 Elders Calendar Competition' – The winner of the competition will feature on the cover, receive $250 and have their photograph displayed in over 70,000 homes when the 2018 Calendar is distributed.
