Comment on Eudunda Heavy Vehicle Bypass

The Regional Council of Goyder have recently posted the latest news about the Eudunda Heavy Vehicle Bypass. The original proposal caused major community concern, when it was proposed at the Public Forum on the 15th February 2016 by Council that the B-Doubles should be routed through the Main ‘Bruce Street’ of Eudunda.

The Council took the overwhelming message on board that the community was vehemently opposed to heavy vehicles coming through the main shopping precinct of Bruce Street and worked on developing alternative ideas with the help of local suggestions.

Scott Schaefer Memorial Speed Shearing Results

With a high standard of competition and many entries the Inaugrual Scott Schaefer Memorial Speed Shearing hd been a great success.

Speed Shearing at the Eudunda Show was named after Scott Schaefer who was a great helper for this event, a friend of everyone and always willing to help others out. Sadly Scott passed away from a farm accident. As a mark of respect and love for him, the shearing community and the Eudunda Show Committee have renamed the event in his honour.
