"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:21
Grace and peace to you!

I'm writing this brief note to thank you again for your support of Indianapolis Theological Seminary. I'm also very glad to share with you a handful of student testimonials. You can also see a video testimonial of still another student here. Be encouraged: these are just a few of the students your donations are blessing!
Kamaron Gray
“I am a Sunday School teacher in my local church, and part-time corporate chaplain. If the Lord wills, I would like to pastor a congregation soon. I am taking classes because of the local, face-to-face education and Reformed scholarship at a high academic level that ITS provides. More than anything I have learned to critically read and examine scholarship which has allowed me to study and apply the Scriptures better!”
Charles Wright
“I currently serve my church through preaching and teaching, as well as in the marriage and men’s ministries. I have desired for a while to learn more about God’s word in a more formal and systematic way. I like that ITS takes the academic study of God’s word seriously but still maintains the importance of Spirit-led engagement in the course work. My goals are to equip and disciple saints through promoting the supremacy of God’s word, and to build into a Christ-centered community across race, gender, background and nationality.”
Taylor Frank
“I am on staff at my church leading the 7-8th grade ministry, teaching weekly and developing leaders. Long term, I hope to pastor in my hometown of Marion, IN. I am taking courses at ITS in order to better understand Scripture and theology to prepare to lead a church well. I love ITS because it’s local, it’s very affordable, and it seeks to prepare pastors for real-life ministry. Through my time at ITS I have a much better understanding of how Scripture interconnects and am better equipped to help people interpret it carefully and in context.”
Huri Cañas
“I am currently involved at my church in the areas of worship, teaching in small groups and bookkeeping. It’s been a longtime desire to pursue theological studies to answer poor views of Scripture as well as arguments that deny the existence of God. At ITS the professors are top-notch and approachable. In my studies I’ve grown in humility, respecting other views, and always approaching the Bible with a sense of responsibility. In the future, I’d like go back and establish a seminary in Honduras or support local options (which are very few).”
Devin Templeton
“I recently completed a men’s Bible study in my church, and do pulpit supply within my denomination. ITS has helped me gain a better understanding of hermeneutics and biblical theology which have already played out in my family life (especially this past year) as we have wrestled with the calling to suffer in the service of God. I also like the ability to stay in Indiana and serve within the state. This has led to deep and meaningful connections where I live and plan to serve as a pastor and/or church planter.”
Vicki Pearsall
“I serve in my church’s food pantry and lead a neighborhood evangelistic Bible study. I have been a disciple of the Word for decades, and am in awe, totally amazed, how much more personal my faith in God and desire to serve have become. The student conversations, the professor lectures, and tools such as books, articles, a library, seminars, and speakers are all wonderful resources.”
Noah Debaun
“I help lead our ministries to families and children, and engage neighbors for the sake of evangelism. My future ministerial goals are to preach the gospel in a way that is culturally located, and to be equipped as broadly and deeply as I can for the Kingdom of God. The best thing about ITS is being able to live in a genuine community right here in Indianapolis without compromising the integrity of my education. In brief, ITS has allowed me to continue pushing into Christian formation; having this resource available has been life giving!”
Jonathan Tapp
“I am a pastoral intern, serving mainly in liturgy preparation, music, and teaching & preaching. My long-term goal is to serve in fulltime pastoral ministry. I appreciate the flexible schedule at ITS; I’m able to work fulltime for my church, care for my family, and take courses in the evening. So far I’ve grown the most in my appreciation for church history as well as understanding my current theological context.”
Van Tha Thang
“For the last two years I’ve been my church’s Education Director, and have recently been promoted to be an Associate Pastor. ITS is a seminary that believes in the infallibility and the inerrancy of God’s word, and provides the best and most up to date educational system where students are nurtured spiritually and academically. It also offers a reasonable tuition fee. ITS is preparing me to be a faithful expositor of God’s word in whatever church I would serve.”
Please continue to pray for all our students; they and the people to whom they minister are why we exist. In serving them we aim to strengthen local churches and outreach ministries for decades to come! All to the glory of God.

soli Deo gloria,
