Dear <<Gender>> <<Last Name>>
We’ve joined the explorers! Inpiko is the name of the project that has gone on this discovery journey for lost CAD data – and we were there. Why does the Condor now stand out with its new probes, what our customers had to say at the User Meeting and much more can be found in our latest newsletter.

Enjoy the reading,

PRODUCTS & PROJECTS
Digitizer 2.0

The Digitizer 2.0 is here!

Operating complex, high-cost assemblies that require long-term support can be a challenge. If the requisite CAD data is not available, Digitizer 2.0 can reconstruct the information using a component library and netlist regeneration tools on the Condor. The subsequent network checks and a new kind of component analysis run automatically on our Condor flying probe test system.

Condor MTS 505

Faster, more precise, tougher: Condor

The next generation of the flying probe test system now has greater test coverage. The linear stator requires low-maintenance and the new conveyor allows for the test of larger and heavier boards. With new software functions, hardware innovations, comprehensive Boundary Scan integrations (JTAG/Göpel) and new probes as well as opens check sensors, the Condor MTS 505 is ready for the future of fixtureless testing.

INPIKO Team

Research project successfully concluded

For two years (left to right) Erik Horn, Dr. Alexander Scheuring and Olaf Rohrbacher were researchers working together with the Fraunhofer Institut, the TU Berlin, in-situ, Lacon and Schindler & Schill. The INPIKO research project has now concluded and the results are available. The objective was to achieve the highest automated possible to reconstruct PCB layout’s and BOMs. This is especially critical for high-cost assemblies that require long-term maintenance and upkeep. The research was sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the Central Innovation Program for SME.

Martin Bader: damals & heute

A special anniversary

There is hardly a Digitaltest customer who doesn’t know him. Whether technical consulting, support with tricky questions or training – over time everyone has gotten to know him: Martin Bader.
He is practically an institution, and this year he celebrates his 30th anniversary with us. Martin Bader began in 1985 as a student assistant. “Back then,” recalls the engineer, “the entire staff could fit around the kitchen table.” The company grows and he establishes himself as head of applications. Since the turn of the millennium and up to the present he is our man for technical sales and customer support.
