Hi <<First Name>>,

The Cubs will kick off their first home baseball game tonight at Wrigley Field and we can fully expect another very exciting season. Due to the game and a significant amount of construction in the area, please be mindful that there will likely be more traffic congestion than in previous years.

Additionally, since some Cub fans rely on metered parking that can be renewed via their phone, LAZ has started a pilot program that will place a surge on meter rates from $2 per hour to $4 per hour at 1,100 metered parking spaces around Wrigley Field during stadium events. This pricing starts roughly two hours before the start of a Cubs home game or other special event and lasts for seven hours thereafter. The affected area roughly includes the streets between Irving Park Road, Southport, Belmont and Broadway

Make sure to visit WrigleyField.com and Cubs.com for updates throughout the year about changes in game times, special events, updates and neighborhood news.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email or call my Ward Office at 773-878-4646.

Best,
