Success! — Viva Village Launch Campaign

Membership — Volunteering — Donations
Your support means so much!

Together we have successfully completed our Pilot,
and realized our goal of launching a Village
in the Beaverton area.

Let's take a moment to appreciate what has been accomplished …

57 trained Volunteers
34 Members
17 Founding Donors
16 Friends of Viva Village
Strong Community Support

Now, we can look ahead —
Viva Village is officially open!

Memberships and Donations during our 2016 Launch Campaign
raised a combined total of more than $23,000.
This makes it possible for Viva Village to focus on providing
the best programs and services to members and volunteers
in the year ahead.

All Viva Village Volunteers:

Hours Reporting — a change is coming!

First — a Reminder:log your hours
Log your December 2016 hours as usual by January 9.

Second — a New Look for a New Year:
The next time you report hours (early February), there will be only two categories to track:
  • Direct service to Viva Village members, and
  • All other Village support activities (office staffing, meetings, writing, community outreach, etc.)
Thank you for documenting the hours you contribute to Viva Village.

This provides valuable information that is used by both Viva Village and our hub Villages NW to demonstrate the strong community commitment for Viva Village. It helps us plan for the future and recognize all our volunteers.
