This month's book:
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, by Jamie Ford

This beautifully written book is a glimpse of the damage that is caused by war—not the sweeping damage of the battlefield, but the damage to the hearts and humanity of individual people.

This book selection particularly timely given that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the Executive Order issued by President Roosevelt that led to the internment of Japanese in the United States.
