Disaster Relief in Honduras

In the midst of preparing this Honduras team, two category 5 Hurricanes (Iota & Eta) hurled into Honduras in the span of 2 weeks and urgent relief work was needed.  There was not much attention to these disasters in the US media, as this was all happening during the election in the US. The eastern part of Honduras was hit hard and this remote area that is neglected under normal circumstances was also off the charts for most of the aid that headed to Honduras.  One of the torches we feel we carry as an organization is to advocate for this region.

Prayer Requests

  1. God’s continued comfort as Carmen’s maternal grandmother (Eileen Elgas) died at the end of November.  Carmen was quite sad to not be able to go to CA for the graveside service.
  2. Thanksgiving for God’s provision (in so many areas) to accomplish pilot standardization and team building for MAG’s Honduras bound team.
  3. We praise God for His provision to help the people of Honduras following the hurricanes. Please pray we continue to do our part of relief work well and get help to where it is needed most.
  4. We also rejoice for the good progress our apprentices are making.  Both Keith and Ryan passed their Commercial FAA check rides this month.  They are on to advanced training!
